The Northdale Concert Band presents an afternoon of blues, jazz, and timeless melodies
Join us for an unforgettable musical experience featuring special guests: acclaimed vocalist Heather Bambrick and celebrated pianist Stuart Harrison.
Feel the energy of Rhapsody in Blue—the groundbreaking piece that successfully fused classical music with jazz. The program also includes beloved standards like Gershwin’s They Can’t Take That Away from Me and But Not for Me, Hoagy Carmichael’s Star Dust, and Oscar Peterson’s moving Hymn to Freedom.
Enjoy a wide-ranging repertoire, including Bernstein’s witty Slava!, the bebop classic A Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman’s swing favourite Sing, Sing, Sing, and more!
